Given to: generals, officers and sergeants with at least 10 years military service and also to foreign citizens for merits to the army forces of PRB. 
Form: Circle shape with 33 mm of diameter. Made of yellow metal. On the obverse five-angle enameller in red star. In the center of the star are the National colors surrounded by laurel wreath. In the medallion a lion on crossed swords. Down is written "25 Years "BNA". Reverse: "25 years Bulgarian PeopleÂ’s Army". The ribbon is with five-angle shape, with 5 red lines with white and green on the edges.
